Student Life in the School of Children and Family Ministry
Involvement
in things like the Upswing Children's Ministry Conference, and
the Kids Travel Company makes student life vibrant in the CFM
program. And if that weren't enough, CFM is joined in with School
of World Discipleship student life building events and ministries.
The Vanguard Westwood Community Family Fun Day is one example
of these fun, community building events.
Retreats and house parties throughout the year also add to the mix for CFM students.
Community Life Groups
Every Vanguard student becomes part of a Community Life Group, meeting for about and hour each week. These small groups or men or women serve as a sounding board when you have a tough week, prayer support, encouragement, discussion groups and just plain relaxation and fun time. What your group will do depends on what your interests are, but the goal of fellowship and prayer remain the standard.
