Fundamentals of Music Writing 3

Course number: PS2151     Credit hours: 3 hrs

This course is an introduction to the common practice of harmony, including elementary analysis and discussion of counterpoint and choral texture.  Basic melody writing techniques will be explored.


Pre-requisite is Theory II (PS1251) with a minimum grade of 80% on the final exam, or permission from the Program Director.
