Introduction to Worship and Music History

Course number: GS1124     Credit hours: 3 hrs

This course consists of two components.  The first area of study is the philosophy of worship and the life of a worshiper.  The second part of the course is a study of the history of gospel music and the gospel music industry.  Beginning with Martin Luther’s church music reforms, the development of gospel music is traced over the past 500 years.
