Leadership Assessment & Development

This course is meant to complement and enhance the students mentored-employment or internship experience, with practical focus on both the Leader andthe Leading. Students will focus on leadership development in the areas of self-awareness, personal development and management, mission and calling, decision-making, relationships, and team-building. Students will be challenged to apply their leadership learning in internship experiences, as well as in learning how to lead people through transformative life experiences like weddings, funerals, and baptisms. Classroom experiences will support practical learning opportunities through case studies, collaborative (group-oriented) learning, peer presentations, team projects, and development of a personal leadership portfolio.
