Rev. Gary Taitinger
Alberta & NWT PAOC District Superintendent
Gary is married to Carrie, they have three married children and eight grand children

Gary's personal mission statement is to "intercept the trend of decreasing Christian influence in Canada." His ministry gifting specializes in aligning team members around big goals and cheating plateaus through God prompted vision
REV. DAVID WELLS
Dave Wells has served as general superintendent of The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC) since May 2008.
Dave completed his undergraduate studies in theology at Vanguard College in Edmonton, Alberta, and has a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Briercrest Seminary, Saskatchewan. In May 2013, he was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree by McMaster Divinity College. In April 2014, he was also awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree by Briercrest College and Seminary.
Rev. Eric Derksen
Eric has 4 years Public Practice KPMG; 17 years of ministry experience including ministry with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, and ministry as Pastor in Ontario and Manitoba.
Rev. Mark Macknight
Mark brings over 30 years of pastoral experience to His role as director. He has personally experienced and exercised his pastoral gift in many settings from staff pastor, youth pastor to lead pastor. He has served in rural, suburban to urban settings. He now finds it a great privilege to pastor future pastors/leaders. . Married to his best friend Pam, they have two great children, Rachel and James, both involved in ministry. Mark’s desire and passion is to encounter the God of unlimited resources who has big plans for His Church and the next generation of leaders.
Rev. Dallas Bidell
Dallas is married to Shelley and they have 3 grown children.
He has been in full-time ministry for 25 years the last 15 as lead pastor at Family Worship Centre in Whitecourt. Before that, he served in churches in Vernon and Langley, BC and in Sweden. He is passionate about raising up the next generation of leaders in the church to reach our culture for Christ.
He graduated from Summit Pacific College in BC, also has a ministry certificate from Word of Life Bible Institute in Sweden, and a Masters of Christian Leadership from Crest Leadership Institute.
Mr. Dwight Kunn
Dwight Kuhn is a businessman who grew up in Edmonton, attending Central Tabernacle and then West Edmonton Christian Assembly. Graduating from the University of Alberta in 1979, he went on to become a Chartered Accountant in 1985. He has been married to Gerilyne since 1982, and they have three adult children, Kerstie (Darnell), Cody and Travis, and one grandson, Lincoln. Dwight has been involved in his families businesses all of his life, and with his late brother, Calvin, started Western Modular Homes in 1993. He recently retired from that business but is still active in the home building industry, and is a partner in Legacy Automotive Group. He helped teach an accounting course at Vanguard in the early 1990's and joined the Board of Regents to help the move to the current location of the College. He currently serves as Treasurer of Vanguard College.
Murray has been pastoring since 1977 and has served in 5 churches in Western Canada. Murray and his wife, Patricia, have been married for 39 years and have two married children as well as three grandchildren. Murray’s passion is to enable believers to become all that God wants them to be. He presently pastors Gospel Centre Church in Edmonton, is on the District Leadership Team and serves as an adjunct faculty member at Vanguard. One of his goals is to mentor and invest in young leaders. On his days off, he likes building furniture, golfing, and working in the garden – and riding his motorcycle.
Tim has pastored in the Alberta/NWT District for 37 years including living in the NWT & Nunavut for 19 years. He graduated from Northwest Bible College in 1994 and has been Lead Pastor in Lloydminster since then. He served on the AB/NWT District Executive for 9 years and Chairman of Moose Lake Pentecostal Camp for 7 years until 2014. Tim has been married to Lucy since 1984 and they have 3 children, two of whom have graduated from Vanguard. Their older son, Samuel is Youth/Young Adult pastor in Lloydminster.
Dr. Efa Etoroma
Nigerian born, Efa moved to Canada in 1978 and has lived in Edmonton since 1992. Efa and his wife Faridat are the proud parents of three adult children: Efa Jr., a California-based jazz musician; Daniel, a pastor at The Church At South Edmonton; and Shireen, an undergraduate student. Efa has served as a lay member of the General Executive of the PAOC and on a number of local boards. Efa and Faridat are members of Mill Woods Pentecostal Assembly. Efa has served on the board of Vanguard College since 2006.

Colin Greig has served in full time pastoral ministry with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada for 30 years. Presently he is the Lead Pastor at The Park Church in Sherwood Park (since 2011). Prior to this, he pastored in Calgary for 10 years (2001 to 2011), was a missionary to Zimbabwe for almost 10 years(91 to 2000), and pastored in Sudbury, ON for 5 years (86 to 91).
He holds a B.Th. from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College (1986), and an M.A. in Church Leadership from Cape Theological Seminary in Cape Town, RSA (2001). He has served on the Board of Directors at Vanguard College for 12 years and has taught as an adjunct faculty.
Marlo & Miriam love being a part of Eaglemont Christian Church in Beaumont, AB., and serving in community with others. They are excited about the opportunity to inspire Christ-followers to grow in knowing God, loving people and serving their world. Miriam loves being a mom, enjoys reading good books and eating at Thai restaurants. Marlo loves being a dad, enjoys waterskiing and playing hockey. Their 31 years of pastoral ministry has taken them from Sherwood Park to Winnipeg to Edmonton and now to the growing town of Beaumont. One of their greatest joys in life is helping people discover peace, purpose & passion in a committed relationship with Jesus Christ.
Rev. Mark Williams
Mark was born in Nova Scotia and grew up on the East Coast of Canada. He met his wife Andrea in Edmonton Alberta and they were married in March 2001. They have two daughters – Brielle and Kristen-Joy. Mark received his Bachelors from Southeaster University Of the Assemblies of God in Lakeland Florida and Masters from Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth Texas. Since 1993 Mark has pastored in both Canada and the United States. June 2012 Mark became the Lead Pastor of Beddington Pentecostal Church in Calgary AB. Before moving to Calgary Mark and Andrea planted a church in Fort Worth, Texas. Along with pastoring Mark and Andrea have been involved in consulting and coaching churches and pastors in the area of church and pastoral health and development.
My name is Don Bunting and I was raised in a preachers’ home and accepted Christ at age 11. My wife Grace and I were married in 1967. God blessed us with four sons, Brooks, Blake, Brad and Damon and we now have a family of 14. We lost Brooks in 1992. We started our business Action Electrical In 1973. The Park Church has been our home church since 1974.I am privileged to have served on various Vanguard Boards since the early 90’s. I have enjoyed serving under such great leadership and with such dedicated individuals. Romans 8:28 has always been a source of strength.
Randy has held executive management positions in public companies in Canada and the US during his career.
He has served on the boards of for-profits, not-for-profits, and industry associations, including Videotron Communications Ltd., the Cable Television Association of Alberta, Buckspring Foundation, Junior Achievement of Northern Alberta, Sunnyside Christian Retreat Centre, Frontiers Canada, Calvary Church, and Church in the Hills Calgary.
Randy holds an ICD.D Designation (Institute of Corporate Directors) from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, Chartered Accountant (Alberta) and Certified Public Accountant (Illinois) designations, and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta.
