Vanguard College’s School of Pastoral Leadership is a center of faith and learning where tomorrow’s lay and vocational leadership are being accelerated into their preferred and called future with Jesus, the Pastor, as the central part of the experience. From the Department’s four streams of one, three, and four year training programs, our student’s are enabled to best fulfill their God given goals of leading His church to greater health.

Jesus’ central promise to His forever family members was that they might experience Joy, and have it to the fullest extent (John 10:10). Our goal in SPL is to apprentice with Him with such practical passion, that the lives of all our members would take on the taste and feel of that Joy, and invite others to experience it as well.

	Ryan Pedde, Pastor SPL Grad, 2008 "After spending four action-packed, life-changing years at Vanguard College, Jessica and I were hired on at Bethel Community Church. I am the Director of Youth and Young Adults Ministries. Bethel is a hip, multi-ethnic, Christian Reformed Church located in North-East Edmonton.
