Average Costs
(for 1 Year Certificate or first year of 4 Year Degree)

Tuition - $5040 ($168 per credit hour x 30 credit hours)
Books - $500 for the year
Fees -$350
Total - $5890

Living costs can vary as Vanguard does not have dorms. However, many affordable apartments are located within minutes of walking (or even seconds!). A good estimate for living costs (including food), if you were to split an apartment with a roomate, would be $400-500 per month.

ACADEMICS AND COURSES

What Exactly Will I Study?

This website offers a detailed, up to date listing of the courses involved in each program we offer. To view the full course listing for any of our School of Pastoral Leadership programs, simply CLICK HERE >>

What Do I Need to be Accepted?

Basically, you will need an Alberta High School Diploma or equivelant. For instance, an Ontario Diploma would be considered equivelant. Some students without a diploma may qualify under Mature Student Status. These are generally students who; a) are over the age of 21, and b) have been out of school for over two full years. Such students will be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis upon applying to the College.

What Courses are Important in Preparation for Vanguard?

You will generally need your Diploma, but beyond that, it is good to do well in English and Social Studies. The skills you master in these high school subjects, especially English, will serve you well in Bible College as you will write many papers, messages and so on.
