The School of Children and Family Ministry (CFM) offers  a 1 Year Certificate to “get your feet wet”,  an emphasis to take along with one of our 4 Year Degree programs, or a 4 year degree to launch you into full-time children and family ministry.

Our purpose is to equip a generation of passionate, well trained, spirit-filled family ministers who can reach out in creative and effective ways, impacting entire communities for God. This is accomplished by equipping leaders with strong Biblical and personal disciplines and immersing them in hands-on family
ministry.

Meet the  Program Director

Sean is the director for the School of Children and Family Ministries at Vanguard College.  He was born in Ontario, but grew up in Southeast Asia, which is probably why he likes drinking tea and watching martial arts/action movies so much.  Before coming to Vanguard, Sean served as a Children’s Pastor in Ontario, Manitoba and Alberta for over a decade.  He has a strong desire to see children and their families transformed by the gospel, and to equip leaders who will help them realize that God wants to use them to build his Kingdom now, as well as in the future.  Sean is married to Faith, and they are the proud parents of three of the cutest kids on the planet.
