The SWS focus is on developing a heart of worship, rooted deeply in Scripture and personal disciplines. The program includes a wide range of musical and Biblical training, which is lived out in practical ministry, in the local church and all over Alberta.

Our purpose is to raise up a generation of well-trained, Spirit-led worshipers who can lead people into God’s presence and see lives be changed by Him. This is accomplished by creating disciples with strong Biblical and personal disciplines, and being immersed in hands-on worship ministry that impacts lives and churches everywhere.

Gerry Paulson – SWS Director

Gerry has been on staff at Vanguard since 1993.  He brings a great deal of practical experience to the program from 11 years he spent in pastoral ministry. Always challenging students to focus on Christ, Gerry will help you find your “heart of worship.”
