Student Care Centre
What Is It?
The Student Care Centre exists to help students succeed in their preparation for ministry leadership. We offer care for the whole student in the form of helping with academic, emotional, and spiritual health. It is intended to provide a safe and caring place where students can find the help and inspiration to become the leader that God made them to be.
A peer tutoring centre that operates from 3:45 – 5:45 p.m. each Monday and Wednesdays. Monday is a drop in and Wednesday is by appointment.

Sean is the director for the School of Children’s and Family Ministries at Vanguard College. He was born in Ontario, but grew up in Southeast Asia, which is probably why he likes drinking tea and watching martial arts/action movies so much. Before coming to Vanguard, Sean served as a Children’s Pastor in Ontario, Manitoba and Alberta for over a decade. He has a strong desire to see children and their families transformed by the gospel, and to equip leaders who will help them realize that God wants to use them to build his Kingdom now, as well as in the future. Sean is married to Faith, and they are the proud parents of three fantastic kids.
