YMI PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Rev. Ron Powell
Director, Youth Ministry Institute
Hi
I am Ron Powell, the Director of the Youth Ministry Institute. Besides
having the privilege of getting to teach some of the most dedicated
young people in this country, I get the opportunity to travel with
the team of students on the Impact Team. I have been at Vanguard for
only a few years now after youth pastoring for about ten years and
teaching youth ministry for another ten. In the process I have lived
in Toronto, Taiwan, Peterborough, and Kelowna.
Along the way I have also earned a Masters Degree in Youth Ministry
and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Trinity Evangelical School
in Chicago. Anyone can tell you that I get pretty worked up about
how much we need to be doing for teens in Canada and around the
world. I am also really committed to my two girls and my wife.
