This course will provide children’s ministry workers, leaders, and pas- tors to study leadership skills that will improve the present state of his/her children’s ministry. Students will explore resources and practical strategies of building a team of dedicated volunteers or leaders. Classes will be designed to give students opportunities to gain insight through interaction and discussion among other children’s ministry leaders. Students will be encouraged to develop a heart to minister the gospel as well as the skills to manage a program that requires teamwork. Attention will be given to the process of creating a vision, encouraging and building of talents and gifts, and other leadership skills.
Prerequisite: Internship: Children and Family Ministry
