Built in 1913, the Vanguard College campus is located just North of Downtown in the Westwood neighbourhood of Edmonton. The building was originally built as a public school and has served as the home of Vanguard College since 2004. If you haven’t been to Vanguard College’s new location we would encourage you to book a tour and hear about the miracles that God has been doing!
ESTABLISHED IN EDMONTON
Edmonton, Alberta’s capital, is an awesome city situated along the banks of the North Saskatchewan River. There are acres of beautiful parks and river valley trails to enjoy. If you’re a sports fan, you can cheer on the Edmonton Oilers hockey team or the Edmonton Eskimos football team.
Of course, Edmonton is also home to West Edmonton Mall, one of the world’s biggest shopping centres. Our city is known as ‘Canada’s Festival City’ hosting nearly 20 major festivals each year including Canada’s largest Fringe Theater Festival. Edmonton’s historic Whyte Avenue District and Churchill Square in the Downtown core provide the perfect settings for these annual celebrations. Not only is Edmonton a vibrant city and arts and entertainment hub, it is also a city with a strong and vibrant Christian community that hosts many conferences and events such as the One Conference (formerly Breakforth). Edmonton’s vast network of churches provides many unique opportunities for students to be involved and truly impact the nation.
