Welcome to the new & improved Vanguard College website! I’m so glad you’re taking the time to check out the college online. My hope is that you get a great feel for who we are & what we’ve been passionate about at Vanguard since 1946: “developing innovative, Spirit-filled leaders.”

At Vanguard, we take this mission very seriously:

“Developing:” we train students to become life-long learners, continuously striving for excellence (Col.3:23) & growing spiritually, academically, personally, & professionally.

“Innovative:” we’re raising up a generation who will turn the world upside down for Jesus Christ, “understanding the times” (I Chr.12:32) & impacting society in creative & relevant ways.

“Spirit-filled:” we value the moving of God’s Spirit, & we challenge students to demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit (Gal.5:22) & develop the gifts of the Spirit (II Tim.1:6) God has given them.

“Leaders:” we’re building a community of servant leaders (Mk.10:43), equipped & mobilized to be a force for good in the church & the world.
