At Vanguard College, we are committed to helping our students graduate with as little debt as possible.   

Below is information on Entrance Scholarships. Our Online Studies Director will provide more information on returning student scholarships as you progress through your courses.

Scholarships are available to students enrolled in a program and taking a minimum of 7 credits within a study period (one semester).

ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP - 10% Discount – Average of 75% 

An average in five Grade 12 subjects.  

At least 1 in each of:

  • Language Arts course
  • Math or Science course
  • Social Sciences, Fine Arts, or other Language course

Including 2 in any other subject

*Post-Secondary Transcripts or a SAT may be considered provided that, the student has completed a Grade 12 diploma and at least one full semester (12 credits) of study at the Post-Secondary level. This includes Journeymen certification. Other accredited certifications may be considered.

MINISTRY BURSARY - 10% Discount

Serving 20 hours or more in a permanent ministry position.
 
*Student must provide a letter from church or ministry organization.

FAMILY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE BURSARY - 10% DISCOUNT

One of the following must be applicable:
  • Student Sibling attending Vanguard College Full-time*
  • Each student must be an unmarried offspring under the age of 25
  • Student Spouse attending Vanguard College Full-time*

  • Student Dependant attending Vanguard College Full-time*
    • Dependents are considered unmarried offspring under the age of 25
  • Parent is an Alumni
    • Student’s parent graduated from Vanguard College, IBOLT or Northwest Bible College with a certificate, diploma or degree

  • Parent is in Ministry 
    • Student’s parent is involved in full-time ministry as a pastor or missionary
* Full-Time student is defined as taking a minimum of 10 credits

55 PLUS DISCOUNT - 20% off Tuition

Available to individuals 55 years of age and older.
